Laura Venning

Insurance Administrator

Laura joined West Midlands Referrals in May 2021 as a client care advisor. Since joining the practice, she has worked as client care co-ordinator, a role that involved ensuring clients are content and know what to expect ahead of surgery. Laura eventually became the insurance administrator in May 2022, and is responsible for sending claims, scheduling pre‑authorisations and liaising with our finance team.

Alongside this role, she is also the point of contact for the WMR social media team, liaising with owners ahead of case studies being shared across our social media page. She is a member of the green team, who support the practice in adhering to sustainability policies.

Outside of work, Laura is chronically online and enjoys gaming. She’s kept entertained by her partner and young stepdaughter, her deaf and blind senior dog Howard and her cats Lionel, Gordon and Sheila.
