In his holidays and on sabbaticals Chris worked voluntarily for various charities throughout the world. After his time in mixed practice he decided to pursue his goal to focus on small animal surgery.

He moved to Birmingham to work as a surgeon for a 3 branched small animal practice where he completed his RCVS CertAVP in 2015 and sat his synoptic exam to specify surgery (GSAS) in 2018. He has a diverse skillset with excellent imaging capabilities and performs both orthopaedics and soft tissue surgeries. He has a passion for minimally invasive investigation and surgery.

His first loves were travelling, skydiving, cooking and rugby but these days he has a young family that keep him busy.
