Jade Lee

RVN

Jade graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2016 with a foundation degree in Veterinary Nursing and has worked as an RVN for seven years.

Jade has worked at WMR for 5 and a half years, with her daily roles includes preparing patients for surgery, placing IV catheters, taking blood samples, monitoring anaesthetics, processing x-rays, administering medication and nursing patients in recovery. As part of her role, she is also on the Total Hip Replacement team. This involves taking pre op x-rays, clipping the patient and then scrubbing into the procedure and assisting the Veterinary Surgeon.

Jade is also the Cat Advocate Nurse at WMR. She implements protocols that are designed to make cats visits to the vets more positive and stress free. West midlands Referrals achieved the Silver Award for being a cat friendly practice in 2022 thanks to Jade’s hard work! Her favourite work day is being in the cattery with lots of feline inpatients that she can nurse.
