Nikki Shingler

Veterinary Physiotherapist MIRVAP (VP) (ICH)

Nikki has had a keen interest in animals from a young age and spent a lot of time volunteering at rescue centres and gaining experience at veterinary practices.

This lead her to undertake a degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Harper Adams University, after four years of studying and gaining practical experience, she graduated with a first class honours degree in 2020. To expand upon her skillset she then went on to gain a Level 3 Certification in Canine Hydrotherapy.

Once fully qualified, Nikki decided to move to Guernsey to work with a veterinary practice, providing their Veterinary Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy service.

In September 2023, Nikki moved back to the UK and took up the position of Veterinary Physiotherapist at West Midlands Referrals. She works alongside our Vets and Nursing team to ensure our patients are comfortable after surgery and provides our rehabilitation service.

Outside of work, Nikki enjoys spending time with family and friends, doing yoga, cooking/baking, as well as volunteering with St John Ambulance as a first aider.
